Musandam - Khasab Tour

A full day in the Musandam peninsula, the Omani enclave often called the Norway of Arabia, where the Hajar mountains fall straight into the sea and carve deep inlets known as khors. Transfers run from fixed points in Deira and Bur Dubai, with border assistance provided - bring your passport. From Khasab, a traditionally decorated Omani wooden dhow sails out into Khor Sham, past sheer rock walls and remote white-sand beaches, and stops at Telegraph Island, where a British telegraph relay station stood in the 1860s. Dolphins commonly escort the boat, and the dhow anchors for swimming and snorkelling in exceptionally clear water; snorkelling equipment, life jackets and towels are provided. An Omani lunch is served on deck with fruit, limited soft drinks and unlimited water.
