Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van (15 km or 6.5 hours)
Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van (15 km or 6.5 hours) The tour starts at 9 am. Our local guide will meet you at your hotel in Sapa Town or in front of the local main church. After a brief introduction, you will be taken 2km down to Cat Cat’s road, a well-known village of the Hmong minority. From there, you will be reaching the hanging bridge of Muong Hoa river and then continue uphill into the mountains and through a bamboo forest. From there, you will get the chance to admire some of the biggest and most beautiful rice terraces in Vietnam as well as enjoy the majestic mountain view on top of the Hoang Lien Son mountain. You will then head down to Y Linh Ho village and have lunch at a small, traditional restaurant ran by a local Hmong family. After the break, you will make it to Ta Van, a village of the famous Giay minority, where your local host family will welcome you. You will then have some time to rest, take a hot shower, and get ready for your dinner – if you want, you will also have the chance to take part in an informal cooking class!

Y Linh Ho Village
Y Linh Ho Village: The Pristine Beauty of Sapa Y Linh Ho Village is the home to many small population ethnic groups scattered on the mountain slopes, and 2 of the most crowded minorities here are the Black H’Mong and the Dao individuals. Nowadays, the village is divided into 2 communes: Y Linh Ho 1 and Y Linh Ho 2. In each commune, there are about 100 households of Mong and Dao people currently residing.

Lao Chai Village
Lao Chai Village Situated about 7 km to the southeast of Sapa town’s center. It lies peacefully in a deep valley named Muong Hoa while embraced by marvelous ranges of Hoang Lien Son Mountain. With its irresistible temptation, will attract you at first sight. Moreover, a palette of fun awaits you in Lao Chai Village as you can have an opportunity of getting exposed to Vietnamese ethnic communities as well as taking selfies with stunning terraced fields.

Ta Van Village
Ta Van Village: a Peaceful Destination on the Side of Sapa Coming to Ta Van, visitors not only see themselves in the picturesque scenery of nature with the murmuring sound of streams and the singing of wild birds calling you to find love but also enjoy the peaceful appearance of the village. Ta Van Village owns immense paddy fields on the hill slopes, rustic thatched houses of the ethnic minorities and narrow dirt roads with colorful flowers on the two sides. All the things combine with others to draw a stunning picture in a mountainous area. A visit to Ta Van village is a journey back to the past, where people and nature live together in harmony. This village has an immediately strange attraction for those who love travelling.

Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Sapa (12km around 5 hours)
Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Sapa (12km around 5 hours) Enjoy a cup of hot coffee or tea and discover your homestay’s surrounding area and the nearby rice fields. After breakfast, you will be retaken uphill into the mountain till the waterfalls of Giang Ta Chai. You will then enter the Red Dao area where, together with your local guide, you will learn more in detail about their culture and daily life. After a short visit at a Red Dao family, you will then head back to the waterfalls by taking an alternative trail and across a second hanging bridge. You will then have your lunch in Giang Ta Chai village at a small, local restaurant run by a Hmong family. After the break, our bus will be waiting for you, and you will then head back to Sapa Town.

Giang Ta Chai Village
Giang Ta Chai Village Situated 18 km from Sapa town. Giang Ta Chai shares a border with Ta Van village – It’s a very special trekking route. Lao Chai – Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai. Giang Ta Chai village is home to the Red Dao who wear plain black trousers and a long black tunic with embroidered cuffs and lapels.

- WHAT TO BRING - TO KNOW:
- Warm clothes, scarf, hat, cap because the weather in Sapa is pretty unpredictable. It is normally cold in September, October, November, December, January, February and March
- Due to altitude of Sapa, it is sometimes foggy in December, January, February and March.
- Trekking shoes, sun glasses, sun cream, insect repellent are also necessary. You should take cash with you in Vietnam Dong because banking system in Sapa sometimes doesn’t function well. US Dollar, Euro, Australia Dollar are accepted in Sapa.
- You should take medicine with you although there are some chemist’s shops in Sapa in case you get sick.
