About this experience

This authentic tour is perfect for those who have had enough of the city and wish to head over to the country side for a couple nights at the coffee region, while combining colonial town of Santafe de Antioquia where the city of Medellin originally was founded. During 3 days and 2 nights enjoy a fantastic journey around Antioquia´s most significant villages such as: Santafe de Antioquia, Jerico, and Jardin. A comprehensive visit to 3 unique villages that describe best the essence of paisa (Medellin native) culture and traditions since early foundations, especially coffee traditions. By the end, you will be able to identify impressive prehispanic architecture while learning the principles of coffee production straight from the coffee collector.

Itinerary

    Day 1 - Santa Fe de Antioquia

    Your private driver picks you up at you accomodation and takes you to the beautiful town of Santa Fe de Antioquia. You will visit the historic center together with your private guide who will exlpain everything and tell you all about the history of this colonial town. Later, you will walk the Puente del occidente, a rope bridge from he late 19th century which connects Santa Fe de Antioquia with the village Olaya.

    Day 2 - Jerico

    Today you will get to know Jerico, another beautiful village in Antioquia. You will enjoy spectacular views from the lookout at the statue Cristo Redentor Jerico,. Your guide will also tell you everything about Mother Laura, she was born here and was recently canonized as a saint by the vatican. Jerico is the perfect place to visit a typical coffee farm, where you can see the plantations, learn everything about the coffee making process and try a cup or two of the world-famous colombian coffee.

    Day 3 - Jardín Coffee Town

    On the last day of your amazing colonial coffee tour, you wil visit the historic center of the beautiful coffee town Jardín. Also, you will enjoy breathtaking views of this region located in the green Andes, perfect to take amazing pictures.
