AYA Universe Entrance Ticket

AYA Universe is an immersive digital-art attraction in WAFI City, built by HyperSpace as a set of connected chambers you walk through rather than a gallery you look at. Each zone works on a different idea - observatories filled with drifting stars, gardens where the light blooms as you move past, rivers of projected water, mirrored halls that run away to infinity - and most of them respond to you: step, touch or wave, and the room answers. There are around a dozen distinct environments, lit and scored so that the sound changes as you move between them. It is designed for photography and for children, but it is not only a children's attraction; the scale and the darkness make it work for adults too. Allow around ninety minutes to move through at a reasonable pace. The whole venue is indoors and air-conditioned. Wear something you do not mind being lit in odd colours, and note that some zones use strobing light and low-level fog.
